My traditional handmade chairs are made in the style of early Welsh and Irish stick chairs, constructed of locally sourced hardwoods I use many traditional tools and techniques. Each of my stick chairs is individual and unique.
This chair is of Irish origin, the traditional design being taken from a very old chair that can be seen in the National Irish Museum in Dublin. This chair has straight lines and an uncluttered style, the octagonal legs are of Oak, the seat, arms and crest are of Elm and the sticks are Ash, I stained the whole dark to create the feeling of age. As with all my handmade chairs attention to detail ensures a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing addition to the home that will pass on down through the generations.
As my chairs are individually handcrafted I would recommend that you collect your chair in person to ensure that it is comfortable and suits your personal requirements. In the event that this is not possible a courier can be arranged at their then charges.
